Opened in late 2011, Pioneer K-9 Kennels is a unique lodging facility for dogs, providing overnight and long-term care. We give hands-on dog care in individually heated/air-conditioned, private units, which can be re-configured to allow pets to share space if requested. All units at Pioneer K-9 Kennels have access to off-leash grass-covered runs, nestled among old-growth trees in a completely natural and serene environment. Unlike most indoor caged dog boarding facilities, ours is a unique indoor and outdoor hideaway where your dog can play in a park-like setting providing the ultimate experience for your pet. We are conveniently located in Federal Way, WA, accessible from Tacoma's tide-flats, Washington State Route 18, and I-5.
